Event ID Cards and Badges: How to Make Them Online
You can make event ID cards online by picking an event design, adding your logo, listing each person with a role, colour-coding the roles, and ordering printed PVC cards with lanyards. There is no minimum order, so it works for a small meet-up or a large show.

Which people need a card
- Organisers and staff who need to be found quickly.

Step 1: Start from an event design
Open the card designer. The AI assistant offers three finished designs from a short description such as conference, landscape, dark blue and orange, and one of its looks is made for events. Or choose I’ll design it myself and pick from the library.
Step 2: Colour-code the roles
The quickest way to read a crowd is colour. Use a different colour band or role label for Staff, Exhibitor, Crew and VIP. Ask the assistant: make the band red for crew. Keep the role in large letters, and use the same layout for everyone.
Step 3: Add your people
For a large list, upload the CSV template with one row per person. For a few, type them in or paste names and roles from a spreadsheet. Use Add field for a company name, stand number or ticket type.
Step 4: Add a QR code or NFC
A QR code is free and can point to your event page, a schedule or a check-in link. NFC encoding is optional and adds £2.50 per card, if you want a tap to open a link.
Step 5: Photos are optional
Many events do not need photos. If you do, add one per person using the photo button on their row. A clear head and shoulders photo works best.
Step 6: Order, with lanyards
Check every card, tick the box to confirm you are allowed to use the names and photos, and order. Add lanyards and card holders to the same order. Our cards are standard ID card size, 85.6 x 54 mm, printed on PVC.
